Hello everyone! I hope my fellow Americans out there had a fun and safe Independence Day weekend! I had a good time, myself. Working on a few different projects, spent some time with friends, and watched a good movie. Got work tomorrow, so that should be entertaining. It's the first day of the new session, which means new kids. Working more hours this session than I have the last one, which means more kids and more potential criers.

Gotta love them snot-nosed brats! Last Thursday was the last day of the first session and therefore, FUN DAY!! lol one of the other level one barfed in the pool during the first afternoon period, so we had to evacuate all the kids out of the level on section while Life Guard Dominic came to clean up the mess. Lucky Life Guard Dominic, huh? lol me and the other aides were helping him by pointing out chunks of stuff. But enough of that lovely conversation! In anycase, I should have two, possibly three of the kids I had last session again.
lol btw, memnoch, remember that Final Fantasy IX guide I let you borrow that you never gave back? Don't worry about it! Dad brought home a giant bag full of old video game stuff, games, magazines, junky stuff, and a postively decrepit old Super NES, Playstation, and controllers. While we were going through everything, I said something to the effect of, "Hey, you know that game guide I lent out and never got back? lol Wouldn't it be funny if we found another one mixed in with all this stuff?" ...apparently I'm psychic, because lo and behold, not five minutes later my sister pulls out a Final Fantasy IX guidebook.

As for the fanfic/manga adaptation I've been swooning over the past week, I've been hard at work on character sketches and setting up the book. I'm just waiting for an answer to a question I had for the author before I begin comicing. I'm so excited, I can't hardly wait for it! I think the only other time I've been this giddy and excited about something was when I got to go meet Vic at Supercon in May.

Just wanted to let you know that it's the same empath that had read alot of your stuff from ff.net. I'm kinda curious as to what happened to "The Ocarina" once you started making the transition from ff.net to your own original work. Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hi.
